Located in America’s most northeastern corner, brushing against the Canadian border, Little River Cabins offers the perfect balance of rustic charm, seclusion, and modern conveniences. Overlooking Little River, a nationally-celebrated trout stream, the camps occupy 80 acres of gorgeous land home to two unique cabins, a private skeet-shooting range, a wooden foot bridge, multiple fire pits and plenty of room to explore and roam free. Only ten minutes to the nearest town, Fort Fairfield, and 45 minutes to the legendary North Maine Woods, Little River Cabins promise a home-base for many outdoor adventures.
Owners Tim and Dottie live close by the property and are available anytime during your stay to answer questions or address any concerns.
LITTLE RIVER ACTIVITIES
Fishing
Little River runs along the Canadian border and is one of the top flyfishing streams in Maine. Steps away from the main cabin, this fresh stream offers unique beauty and is a great spot for both beginners and experienced anglers.
Skeet Shooting
Owner Tim Martin, a lifelong shooter with a love for the sport, spared no expense in creating an ideal skeet range, complete with a high tower, low tower, five stations, and plenty of room for safety.
Local Festivals & Golf
Fort Fairfield is home to the historic Potato Blossom Festival and the popular County Bluegrass festival. Each festival includes fun events for the whole family. The property is also just two miles to the Aroostook Valley Country Club with a beautiful 18-hole golf course.
Getaway to Nature
Located just 7 miles from the Aroostook Wildlife Refuge, a great place for a family hike and picnic. You may even see a moose, eagles, wild turkeys, deer, or other wildlife.

Nothing builds fond memories faster than a warm fire on a cool evening. With each cabin having its own fire pit, the evenings at Little River Cabins are as magical as any corner of the world, the sky packed with stars and crickets humming in the brush.
